Overlook Regional Park.
Take Rte 15 north from Leesburg and turn right on Edwards Ferry Rd., one
traffic light past the Ft. Evans Rd turnoff to the Battlefield Outlet Mall. Turn in to
the Park parking lot on the left. Enjoy the buildings. Take the Spruce Trail that
begins behind the bulletin board and walk to the junction with the White Pine
Trail (white blazes). Turn left and go to the footbridge. From the SouthWest
corner of the bridge walk about 15 steps west to a mini-waterfall. With your
back to the waterfall, and on a bearing of 105 degrees, walk about 8 steps to
a hollow log. Erik's Box is cleverly concealed within.
